Been having some interest shown in my rig so I thought I would start a thread.

It will be for sale officially at the end on June. I have one trip to Pismo this weekend and then I need to clean it out real good.

97 Cherokee sport. 145k miles (probably closer to 150 actual). Speedo is off by 10%.
AC, PS, PDL, CC, PW. Pretty much everything but power seats. Pioneer CD player. Tan cloth interior. Tinted. Crack in windshield.


4.0 I6 All stock.
3 Row HD radiator new last year.
Poly motor mounts.
Lebaron Hood Vents.
Car sound Catalytic converter, Tube muffler (not a glasspack).
New CPS and O2 sensor this year.
AW4 Automatic, serviced every 30k.
20,000 lbs GVWR Tranny cooler added in-line.
NP231 with AA HD SYE

16x8 Rock Crawler wheels
315 75 R16 (35x12.5) Geolander AT tires 2500 miles on 4, spare is brand new.

Front winch bumper with 8k mile marker winch.
Garvin Wilderness Rear bumper/tire carrier. With Spare mounted and High Lift mounted.
Custom built Gas tank skid (seriously beefy).
Custom added T-case skid (not so beefy, but hasn't broke yet).
Rock Rails...lots of scratches, but still very good.

Front axle is D30 High Pinion, lightly trussed on top side.
4.56 Yukon Gears - 500 miles ago.
Yukon 4340 forged shafts with full circle Ujoints - 4k miles ago.
New bearings and seals - 500 miles ago.
New Full Detroit Locker - 500 miles ago.
Rocky Road Outfitters Diff Guard
50% left on front brakes.

Front suspension 6 inches total
Rough Country 4.5 inch Springs
Poly 1.5 inch spacers
RE fixed upper and lower Control Arms.
RE Drop Brackets
Bilstein shocks
Custom Track bar mount.
Limit Strapped and Bumpstops to prevent shock damage.
JE Reel Driveshaft 10 miles on it right now. Made to fit rear also if needed.
YJ longer brake lines.

Rear Axle - Chrysler 29 spline 8.25 inch

Full detroit locker - 4000 miles ago
Raised rear shock mounts for ground clearence.

Rear Suspension 5.5 inches total
Rough Country 4 inch Main Spring with Dakota secondary leafs without load spring.
1.5 inch Mako Offroad greaseable shackles.
Bumpstops.
JE Reel Driveshaft 4000 miles ago.
6 degree shims for proper shaft angle.
Extended brake line.


ROOF RACK is NOT included.
Everything is in good working shape. Selling to pay for my new MJ.

People sure want to unload those 97+, black rigs lately. Good luck with the sale man. I think I decided to keep mine. I really do love the old girl.

I have considered ALL the aforementioned ideas.

Mostly I do want to keep them both, but I can't drive them both at the same time, can I? I really just can't justify having 2 Jeeps parked outside that get driven less than 1k a year. Not counting Moab last year, the XJ has only been driven about 800ish miles in the last 12 months.

I have pretty much decided it must go.

Remind me to kick you in the nuts......atleast sell it to someone who will wheel that beast
 
Damn, now I gotta think. I just got finished talking myself out of selling it.
