1996 4.0 will not start

Well I gave in and bought a CPS. I disconnected the battery a couple days ago and took the PCM out thinking it was bad. Tonight I went ahead and installed the cps and it turned over and started! I have drove it all around and it feels good! What I'm confused by is I ohm'd the old cps and it didn't read much different than the old one?

Static resistance does not tell the whole story, only a scope reading the wave form can really test it completely.

Thank you for your help! Ive learned with this vehicle it's not always the most obvious thing you might think it is! This may have been just coincidence but windshield washer pump wouldn't work a couple days prior to my jeep not starting. As soon as I changed the cps I took it for a test drive and tried cleaning the windshield and it worked! Crazy electrical system!
