1990 ABS system?

I have a 90 cherokee limited with a 4.0.
My ABS system is on the fritz, we can get power the the abs and it works but the computer dosent reconize it at all. Can I or is it possible to eliminate the abs system and go to a regular brake booster set up?

Get a donor XJ of roughly the same year (only without ABS) and start swapping parts....

You will need the ENTIRE brake system, lines and all.....

Unfortunately the Bendix 9 system in those likes to fail frequently......

It's 600 bucks just for the ABS pump.Master cylinder Assy......
