I'm posting this for a friend. He's got a 4.5" RE lift and 1 1/2" coil spacers in the front on fairly new 33" bfg and 15" soft 8 rims. The axles are stock and I think they are dana 30 in the front and 35 in the rear. It's got a cd player with 6x9's in the door and a all aluminum radiator thats less than a year old.It has a roof rack with a spare and a jack.the interior is clean he just kinda lost intrest. Now for the bad.Fron axle is bent but he has one that he will throw in the deal.It also needs new heads but will also throw one in the deal. It's still some what driveable.I guess what I mean by that is it's no tsitting in the back yard rotting. It's infront of his house.I will get more details later tonight and post them.If intrested let me know 323 202 65 zero five or email me at [email protected] he's asking $2,000 obo but wants it gone by the weekend.

Which rear springs? Stock gearing? With needing a new head gasket, is it leaking coolant into the oil? How's the rest of the engine?

Will it pass smog, how far out are the tags? It would have to be towed home if the head gasket or head is blown.Lots of info needed and work to be done to this jeep.

Good luck with the sale

I sent you an email...

Captain,Sorry but he doesn't want to trade tires.

Ok, thats cool... just wanted to reiterate that i was offering my tires and cash. He would pocket more cash this way in the long run.

it's definitely driveable and will not need to be towed home.

It would have to be towed home if the head gasket or head is blown.

Scott is 100% correct. if water is getting into the oil it shouldn't be driven. that's a quick way to ruin every bearing in the engine as the water displaces the oil. If oil is getting into the water, that's a different story. it can be driven but you're asking for bigger problems to happen.

Now if all it's doing is burning coolant or oil, that could also be not as big of a problem... but like i said you're still asking for it. How does he know the head is ok? was it removed and checked for cracks?

got any pics of the jeep?

no offense, but with what you described, the engine needs to be gone through and most likely repairs. that said (IMHO) its a $500 vehicle. i would suggest doing the repairs and then retry selling it. it will be worth much more. pics would help alot too.
