Thanks for not PM'g me -- I'm broke.

Bump for a gorgeous car -- seen it in person and it is a gem!

I am by no means a fan of Mustangs, but that is one beautiful car.

If you would like I'll cross post this onto COJeeps, there are a bunch of mustang fans there.

I thought I had a buyer for you on Friday, but he wasn't hip on the 6cyl... bump for a seriously cherry collectible!

I assume you have it on CL??

It is on Craigslist. Only people looking at it are people that just want to see it with no intention on buying. Have had several come out and say don't want to buy just want to see it.

damn looky loos...

What did they do to the High Country cars? Curious. I already havea '66 Rustystang and my wife owuld kill me...

Nothing really. It was a promotion Ford came up with to help boost sales in the Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Kansas districts. One of the first special edition Mustangs Ford ever produced. They were available in three colors only. Columbine Blue, Aspen Gold and Timberline Green. They were available in all three body styles and any engine/trim option. They also came with a special emblem on the front fenders. Production was limited to 331 in 1966. All made on the same day at the same plant in San Jose California. They were also shipped on the same train all at once to Denver Colorado. Another first for Ford and the rail road company. The High Country Special was where they got the idea for the California Special Mustang.

I absolutely love this car. Cannot believe it hasn't sold yet. As soon as it starts to warm up, this will move pretty quickly. If I had the extra cash, I'd buy it from you right now.

Is that the original paint?

Jim

Original color but not the original paint. Interior is still the original paint. Still has original carpet, visors and headliner with no damage. You know you would love it more if it was in your garage.

If I bought your car, I'd be living in it. lol

Damn...I love this thing. I wish I had the money.
