150,000 Miles

Steven, it's a Jeep, don't you know anything? The engine isn't broken in until the rear main seal is blown.

I bought mine almost new......it had 120k on it. :)

Just as some buffing compound to your fuel. If helps to seat the rings sooner!!:D j/k damit! You know....its been a long time since I have gotten less than 225,000 mi on any of my cars/trucks. Change the oil every 5,000mi
(why 5000mi? You always know when you need to change your oil next. Each time your odo reaches anything divisable by 5000 you change it)

Why go through that much trouble? Just get the cool mod my old Courier had. I called it the COC system, Constant Oil Change. Add a quart of oil a week, you will always have fresh oil!

Other benefits of that system were a well lubricated exaust system and constant application of rust prevention along the underbody and driveway.

How big of a hole do I need to drill into the block to add this cool system of yours?

Got my 88 Waggy with 142,000 on it, had to do the rear main in Moab at the Slickrock campground around 185,000, still runs. I have seen 4.0L's still running with a rod hanging out the side of the block (no joke).
