anybody experienced that? Sometimes my jeep just does not want to idle right, it started happening after installing the bored TB. Most of the time it idles around 1200 rpm. Its a 98 4L auto.

A vacuum leak around the gasket could cause a high idle so make sure that it's sealing properly. Also make sure that the vacuum from the MAP sensor is connected properly. Otherwise, just disconnect the battery ground cable for a few seconds to reset the PCM and then reconnect it. Often it takes time for the PCM to adapt to the bored TB and bring the idle back to normal.

There's also an o-ring where the IAC goes into the TB. Make sure it's still there and in good shape.
