(1) fabricated front leaf spring mount for XJ

Skullver

Still Flailing
Location
Ventura,CA
I made one prototype, then made a pair and put them on my old jeepspeed project, so I am left with the single prototype, this is made to replace the front leaf spring hanger, grind off the old one, drill 1.5" hole through unibody rail with a holesaw, make an inner plate to double shear the 1.5" tubing and plate the inner unibody rail. This is a weld on peice, just to be clear. I only have one, but if you can install them, you can copy and make another, or makes a good paperweight haha. In Ventura, 93001. Can ship if you want.

Gosh, not even sure, I don't have an XJ anymore, and pretty sure I threw away all the cardboard templates. I drew up a few of the peices in Solidworks, but had a hard drive seizure and am awaiting to see if I can save a lot of the files. I will just say, it was a lot of work. Let me think about it, here is how I did the final version, pretty much the same concept but a bit more refined.

Bump, no jeep to put this in, no jeep to mock up, build another, so, looking like it is going to get taken to the shooting range and make some .45 cal ping ping sounds as it dies a lonely death.
