Don't worry, you're not the only one who has done this. The PO of my XJ cut past the pinch seems in mine too. Been hiding it with bushwackers for a long time but I guess it's about time to do something about it.

Been done a million times on Pirate 4x4. Lurk their forum for a while and you will find tons of information on chopping the top. Just make sure you cage it otherwise it will fold like a taco.

Yes and i had no issues with it lining up. No grinding of the intake manifold required. Maybe I just got lucky but it worked out great.

I really like the looks of the C-ROK bumpers. Plus they have a pretty sick looking tire carrier for them as well.
