    Are you putting the gasket on dry, lubed, rtv? Maybe take the VC to a machine shop and have them deck it?

    Hard to find work welding the last few years. Unions are where the moneys at right now. Plenty of dollars to chase if you're into traveling though.

    Mines an 89 limited maybe I'll pull the trim out and see if its possible. Don't use the treat seat a whole lot but was wondering if it were doable.

    Is it possible to install the later model rear seatbelts in an early model XJ? Mine just has the lap belts. Any ideas welcome.

    New RMS, oil pan gasket, motor/trans mounts, power steering pump, IRO track bar and fresh oil change!!! Ugh...$$$ :-)
