replace those external torx bolts with grade 5 or grade 8 hex head bolts. Those things suck. I had to cut mine out after the helpful step-dad stripped them with a wrench not knowing they were external torx.
from a friend - I have a 98 XJ and want a little feed back on the 6.5" Rockkrawler X-Factor lift kit. If anyone has used one of these, let me know how it does. I have an everyday driver that I take off-roading sometimes. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks
I have a D35 out of my Cherokee. It has 3.73s and a Detroit EzLocker. Swapped in an 8.25 so I don't need the axle. Looks as though it could use new axle shafts though. Looking for $200.00 obo
My D35 went out and I got a line on some commando parts, guy said that it has a D44 and D25. He didn't say whether or not the D44 was in the front or rear, but did say that the D44 is center diff and the D25 is passenger side. But both have the same gear ratio as my Cherokee. Wondering if it...
got some LCA on ebay but unfortunately they are Pro Comp Fixed LCA. Going to start looking for some UCAs, I guess the question is will Adj. UCA still help with the pinion angle even though the LCA are fixed?
Looking at lifting my 90 XJ a little further. Thinking about going about 4.5 to 5". I currently have 3" with stock control arms. The question is do I get LCA or UCA or both? Am I ok with just the LCA? Looks like I'm getting 4.5 RE sprinigs for the front and hope to get 4.5 to 5" out of s10 or...
