Well, I'm back in the fold...

Yeah the bumper being for the wrong model year kind of screwed me on the fitment of everything. But it's just on there until I decide what bumper I want to replace it with anyways. That, and it cost a whopping $40 plus paint.

FS Custom AR15 with red dot and 8 Pmags

5.56x45 is what it's chambered for, will also accept .223 Rem. I've fired both through it. Weight of the rifle with loaded 30rd mag + 1 in the chamber is just under 7lbs, with the optic. This thing runs like a sewing machine. I had a friend of mine shooting it at the range, and I was...

Well, I'm back in the fold...

Well I got some work done on it this weekend. Replaced the whole front end, which turned into a nightmare. The bumper I was sent was not for a 97-01, but the older version. I didn't realize this until AFTER I had painted it and tried fitting it on. So I had to do a little cutting and...

Well, I'm back in the fold...

Hey, Ed. Long time. Yeah, this was a deal I just couldn't pass up. Looks like it's going to be a pretty nice vehicle. I think this one I'll keep a little mild compared to the last one though.

Well, I'm back in the fold...

I had a 96 XJ 4.0 AW4 RC4.5 33's yadda yadda yadda. Well it layed down on me and I sold it for a song, as it sat, to a friend of mine. I drove a Mercury Mountaineer for the past couple years, and it was nice, but mundane to be sure. A week and a half ago I picked up a White 99 Sport 4.0 AW4...

I'll grab one when I'm getting that fuel tank skid then. Does it matter if it comes off of a V8 or I6?

So would I be better off with a ZJ setup? I ultimately want to switch over to WJ knuckles with Crown Vic discs, but that just isn't in the cards right now.

    Tie rod identification

After looking around I believe you're right. Looks like that's exactly what it is. I paid $13 for it, and the TREs seem like they don't have any slop in them. I need to get some boots for it and grease it up. Any idea if the XJ castle nuts will fit on those TREs? It's missing 3 of them...

    Tie rod identification

So I just purchased a 99 XJ 4.0 4wd 4dr AW4 that's all stock, white with Ecco wheels. It was involved in a front end collision which deployed both airbags, but really wasn't too bad. I picked it up for $500 though, so it's okay. I was at pull-a-part today looking for some different things I...

    XJ stuff for sale

I tried to PM you, but your box is full. You can reply to this in a PM if you'd like. Where are you at in GA? What lockers are in the axles? What are the odds of me driving there and us swapping the axles from each vehicle to the other? I'd not worry with the rear, I could do that once I got...

    SYE + Driveshaft...under $100.00 (not 56k friendly)

The u-bolts bolt around the u-joint caps, so the spacing of the holes is closer together than the holes on the double cardan joint. You don't use a u-bolt or a strap on the double cardan joint, straight bolts go through the holes in the yoke and thread into the double cardan itself. It would...

    SYE + Driveshaft...under $100.00 (not 56k friendly)

That yoke WILL NOT work. It is made to accept u-bolts to hold the u-joint in place, so the bolt hole spacing is different. You need a 3103-27CV. I just called a local driveline shop, gave them the specs on what I needed, and he had a used one laying around. It's a 27 spline yoke for a TH350...
