Re: who wants to go wheeling or has input for a trail near the seattle area.
Walker Valley is a lot of fun. It can become very challenging when it's raining.
How was your trip? Did you hike the Winchester Mountain Trail when you got to the lakes?
edit: Nevermind. I was thinking you went up FR3065. I just looked at the map. I thought they closed access to Canyon Creek Road (FR31). Were you able to drive up there?
I just drove up there on Thursday. It started to get snowy on the road (and was also snowing lightly at the time) 1/4 mile past the bathroom. I think the bathroom is about halfway up. It didn't seem safe, so I turned around.
EDIT: On the map, it looks like where I turned around was over 3/4...
Good link. In addition to that, there is a really good write-up that was just posted on the TJ forum regarding converting the Sanden compressor to OBA here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/board-air-conversion-stock-tj-c-system-full-write-up-pictures-1382701/
There's a new 12V compressor...
I would suggest Rob's Offroad in Clackamas. Dave, one of their mechanics, is an amazing jeep guru. He's owned several jeeps and currenly drives an XJ.

Before you go spending $130 on a compressor, why don't you try the Tsunami MF-1050 for about half of that? The MF-1050 puts out more air than the Warn unit.
Here's a link: http://www.gearinstalls.com/pepboys.htm
The MV50 is the same compressor as the MF-1050...
