    Laser Vision Correction

    1) what procedure did you have? Lasik 2) How'd it turn out? 20/20, no glasses after 15 years of constant wear 3) How's your night vision? nothing noticeable changed at night, I do notice that I am uncomfortable without sunglasses on a sunny day. I don't know if that is just because I could...

    TJ Front plate mounting

So I just moved to Las Vegas with my girl, and I'm trying to put her new front plate on. It has existing holes in the bumper, but they aren't big enough for the standard square plastic push in things, and I can't get in to put a nut on the back of the hole to use a regular bolt. Any ideas? I...

    Ga$ Price$

Aparently we can overlook the fact that the President dosen't have much to do with the economy when a liberal talks about things, but I get to fend off tigers with sticks.....makes sense to me. You ever consider that the war in Iraq is keeping terrorists away? Perhaps you would prefer to fight...

    Ga$ Price$

No wonder I'm not renewing my membership here. Spew your BS elsewhere, this is a freakin Jeep forum, not a bully pulpit for anti-Bush morons that can't see that the economy is STILL growing, despite the rise in fuel costs.

    A/F Ratio Gauge

What I have found with my car (Subaru WRX) is this: 1. A wideband A/F ratio gauge is the way to go if you want an A/F ratio gauge 2. Just as much information is gained from an EGT gauge, although you have to think to go from EGT to A/F ratio, and you don't have a definate # to back up your...

    Lower Dash Mounted Speakers

So what you're really saying is you can't explain it either, but you want to be a jackass and try and talk down to me. Great, go back to high school.

    Lower Dash Mounted Speakers

Search for "stereo" and see where most of the stereo related threads are, not street and performance (although there are some) but in OEM and mod tech. Also, take a look at the post counts for those threads. Seems to me that mod and OEM tech see more replies than this forum does. Anyway, I...

    Lower Dash Mounted Speakers

Can someone help me understand why this was moved from mod tech to street & performance? I see how changing speakers is a mod, but I fail to see the connection between speakers and street or performance. Not that anyone is going to see this post now, but I've been considering making a pair...

    LCA Bolts

We aren't talking about the size of the head of the bolt, but the bolt itself. 1/2" bolt has a 3/4" head, but it's still a 1/2" bolt.

    LCA Bolts

Thanks Eagle. I'll pick up some M14 bolts when I go to return the 9/16" that I attempted to use in the first place. The threaded part fit in the joint just fine, but the shank of the bolt was just a little too big. These are RockKrwaler joints btw.

    A/C to OBA completed

You might want to try a Goodyear hose whip. The have a swivel fitting on one end (what would be the tool end) and crimped fittings that don't blow off at both ends. I used the swivel at the compressor end to keep vibration and engine movement from loosening the fittings, and the hose has held...

    LCA Bolts

Anyone know what size these things are? My best guess is M13, but I can't seem to find any locally to make sure. I made 1/2" work for this weekend but without rubber bushings in my new LCA's there is a lot of noise and I can't really allign it until I can stop the parts from moving around. Thanks

    Caspirus Stone Quarry? Creek Falls?

Check out pghoffroad.com. Both areas can be kinda shady, locals and snakes and whatnot...... Anyway, we're trying to plan something for July in Creek Falls, but now that my heep is running, we should be out somewhere around there every weekend. PM me for details, or post over at pghoffroad.

    Exhaust heat???

Hey! Thas exactly what mine looked like before I started cutting. I ended up making a frame of some 2" tube I had laying around and raised the floor above the muffler/cat. I haven't had it out of the garage yet to see if it has changed anything heat wise, but at least the rattle is gone now.

    Oba ??

Mine isn't as pretty as all that brass, but if you cut the metal line coming off the compressor from the factory a 1/2" compression fitting does the job just as well. From the compression fitting I used a Goodyear hose whip, with the swivel end. I figured the swivel would allow more engine...
