Specs are kinda weak. A 16" elect fan should put out a lot more than 2100 cfm.
Check out http://www.zirgo.com/
Same size fan with over 50% more airflow.

the 16" model is twice the price.

Yea, but it will work. Replacing your stock fan with a 2100 cfm fan won't.
Besides, Zirgos are all over ebay for under $100. for example:
