Thinking of doing something different, and testing the waters.
I have a 1 year old Currie HD steering setup, with an extra set of TREs that I am thinking of getting rid of.
I have added 5* to the bend in the drag link, to clear the track bar mount and steering stabilizer, which is a known problem.
I have had no issues with this setup, and it is as strong as ever.
I spent $90 on spare ends for the Tie Rod, which can only be bought from Currie.
I put the new ones in 2 weeks ago, but the ones that came out are still at 70%, and make good spares.
The TRE at the pitman arm is as tight as when I bought it, and the drag link TRE at the passenger knuckle is at about 75%
I am asking $275 for the whole thing.
NOT $275 SHIPPED!
No, I don't have pics.
Go the the Currie site, find the steering, and then picture it a little dirty.
This is about $500 worth of steering, if purchased new.
Once I get paypal, it will take a week for me to get new stuff, and we can move forward.
