Anyone know if the 97 xj Windows will fit in a 90 xj? My buddy Jake rolled his, and i want his windows, just not 100% if they will fit.

Yes and no the windshiled,quarter windows and the rear door's should the front's will not because I think that the early one's have vent window's and 97 on up has no vent window's the back glass is total diffrent early Cherokee's have fiber glass tail gate's and 97 are steel and the back glass is glued in with a cosmetic moulding early Jeep's with the fiber glass tail gate's have a gasket like the quarter window's on all xj's hope that help's

Maybe you could try replacing the door's and tail gate that may work. I have never heard of anyone doing this. But it may be worth a try.

Thanks, his doors are pretty good and messed up. Oh well, plus dark blue, mine is white.

I have herd of people trying it. I think you need to get the whole door and change all the guts
