Just got into the XJ and backed into the Ford Focus that I moved from its regular spot when I was working in the garage. FML.

I've got a keyless entry system on the XJ. Six weeks ago I had to switch out the ignition lock core. Worked great, so I tossed the old keys. Just realized that I now don't have a key for my doors or hatch. FML.

The good news for you is that if you take your vin and registration card to the dealer they will cut you a new key for your doors and hatch :roll:

Thursday morning got smoked (with 11 of my closest co-workers) from a well paying job, came home to find a letter from a city I applied with saying they were 'going with another candidate'. Took my son on a bike ride to have some puke texting crossing onto the wrong side of the road, swerve back and tell me to 'eff off'.
so ya... FML.
Last week anyway. This week the weather's nice, gonna ride my new mountain bike, get my trans back into the XJ, and my new carb into my IH. Things is looking up.:gee:

I put new steering in my Grand yesterday...eyeball and tape measured in for a close driveway alignmet...death wobble bad enough to pop a control arm bushing half out....can afford to fix until next week.....FML.
IIRC, 1 year only for a ZJ with a 5spd. I wheeled with one 10 years ago at the Badlands in IN.

Thanks Jeremy and Wiser. It's not the nicest car by any means but I didn't want any new dents in it either. Fortunately I didn't break any glass and it just nicked the tailgate and it still opens. But yea, I hate it when I do something stupid to my own stuff. No one to blame but myself. Ha ha.
