Local Rig Directory

Hi all,
New guy to the forum, I've had my 98 XJ for 3 yrs now, and just recently got into working on it more (spent quite a bit of time making my motorcycle the way I wanted it, now its the Jeep's turn).

So far its mostly stock,
This weekend I ended up trimming up the rear fender (cut and fold) a bit (as well as all the plastic up front) then bedlined around the rim. With the extra bedliner, I decided to go over my rims too. Sitting on 235's right now since its not lifted, but in the near future I'll be adding 3" to it and probably get some 31's.

Also had the dreaded sagging headliner, so I have been working on redoing the interior in Mossy Oak camo material.

I love the door skins and headliner!

Heck yeah... If My headliner ever falls. I'll know who to go see. Maybe just black for me though. Not huge on the whole Mossy joke theme. looks like really good work though.

I guess I should post on here.

This is My '00 Classic I've affectionately named Betty. For two reasons really. First was that older rock song, Black Betty. Second for the ill fated TV show from a few years ago, Ugly Betty. Either way. This is it. Bought it exactly how it sits for $2500 154k miles. I believe it has a Pro comp 1.75" BB lift (pucks and shackles) and 30's.

Last week at the TSF hangover run.

This is my old jeep. Around 5" and 33's

!!!!!!!SWAMP MONSTER!!!!!!!
Oh, I have videos... It was a fun beater, Bought it off a friend for $200 after it had a tree fall on the rear. V'd the roof and crushed the hatch Also had a "miss". I replaced the Burnt valve, a lift at work made short work of the roof-line, a $40 hatch off CL (it was even blue!) and it was good to go. Lifted it for around $450.
Cheap springs, cheaper shocks, AAL, and shackles I believe. Used 33's from a co-worker, and brand new soft 8's (wish I still had those), Redrilled the track bar bracket to KINDA get the axle straight. It was just a toy and it was suuuuper fun. Ended up selling it to a kid in Lake-O, who was going to Daily it. I advised against, so did his dad. But whatever. It was a great learning experience, and got my feet wet. Literally. See if this video comes up... lol

:D
