2000+ manifold and a stock airbox with a flat panel in it. Shield it from the heat and call it a day

im running the AFE intake..it kicks ass...im working on getting a 99+ intake now.
while your changing the manifold go ahead and get and up graded header

Buy a 10" aluminum tube. (3" dia.) Then buy a cone filter. It will cost you less then half of what companies want for the aftermarket ones.
