ZJ Lift springs on a TJ

Howdy,

I got a set of springs from a lifted ZJ at the local pull-a-part a few months back (8 bucks each, couldn't pass them up. A friend now has a need for a lift on his TJ. The ZJ was lifted 3 or 4 inches. Does anyone have any idea how much lift to expect on a TJ?

Probably give him about 5-6 inches of lift. For example (someone can correct me if I am wrong) .. Lift coils for a TJ lift an XJ approx 1-1.5" less than advertised. ZJ coils on a XJ lift approx 1-2" higher than advertised (at least for the front ZJ springs.)

however, i dont know how long the rear TJ coils are. ZJ rear coils are pretty short. I believe a stock XJ coil will be about 1.5 lift for the rear of a ZJ

OK,

Got in touch with my friend. He is wanting to lift the TJ 2 to 2.5 inches on the cheap. Ay ideas on Junkyard springs that would do that would be appreciated.

Measure his springs.. go to JY and measure springs on other Wrangers. XJ 3.5 lift coils would net about 2.5.
