You know you own/drive a XJ when...

You place a drain pan under the engine at night, and in the morning before you leave for work just dump it all back in the crankcase.

You learn to use the passenger side PW not working to your advantage when forced to give co-workers rides. Just start passing gas; they'll never ask to ride with you again.

...you're always on the lookout for an MJ so you can have a *matching* truck.

...the headlights on the YJ don't bother you.

Anybody elses XJ end up on Google Street View in mid build/service/repair?

My '98 was shot probably back in August or September after Dad decided to start a long overdue brake job on the rear axle (the entire rear brake assembly was factory), apparently the wheel cylinders didn't fight him like the '88 and '90 he had or my Sister's '92 did, but due to medical issues with Mom, it's still on the stands with one wheel cylinder replaced and the other loosened.

I've had all 3 of my Jeeps show up at one time or other. I guess they must cover my street pretty regularly because our view changes a couple times a year.

Funny, that!

I have met up with a few local members. After googling their address, I ask: "Is that your [insert color here] XJ in the street view?"

You know who you are... :D

Never thought of actually looking for mine until now. This was Back when it was in stock form.

Google has since updated my street, but it used to be include my XJ in the driveway and me under it, working on it.

I should have taken a screen shot.

I thought we did too, so I'm not sure it Dad is just paying tickets as the come, or has some how found a way around getting anything for it in the first place using Mom's medical issues as a reason, which is very possible, and we've had the FD here more than a few times for her, one of the last times, a cop came with!

Well, the brakes are finally installed, put it on the ground, put water in it (needs a radiator), start it up, it fires with less effort than normal(?!) and idles way too smooth for something that hasn't moved in almost year and is so low on fuel that it is past the E, Dad hits the brakes............and one of the brake lines fails....................Thank God (or your lord of choice0 that it never came out of Park, and wasn't in the middle on one of the nearby, and far wealthier suburbs where there's a good chance of hitting something that cost more than my Parents house is currently worth.

My GF was very concerned the first time the MJ got deathwobble... after a brief explanation, she didn't even look up from her book the second time.
