Things to be conscious of when getting a dog. The dogs behavior is mostly in the owners control. They have to know who rules and what the rules are. Everyone in your family needs to know the rules. The dog will test the waters and try to identify where they are in your pack. They will be fine anywhere in the pack(but they must know) unless they have breeding issues. Be consistent. Be very aware of how much exercise the dog needs. A blue heeler or spaniel isnt going to be happy cooped up in a fenced quarter acre lot.
