XJ to ZJ swap questions

Not too much tech, just yes and no answers.

I'm looking for a 4.0L ZJ to replace the XJ. I need four doors and a somewhat nicer ride. So here are my questions:

Does an XJ AW-4 directly bolt up to a ZJ 4.0, be it 4x4 or 4x2?

Are the ZJ engine mounts the same as an XJ? Reason being as this swap will be when I do a stroker project.

Think that is it so far.

I think swapping in the AW4 is doable for relatively cheap given it was offered in 1993. I have read threads in the apst of people doing the swap after the Chryco tranny blew up to many times. That being said, I'm sure the aftermarket can make a bulletproof ChryCo tranny.

I think the ZJ 242 is identical to the XJ 242. There may have been minor EFI differences through the years or other stuff like intake design, pulley drive, etc. Otherwise should work - but verify that.

Fergie if you haven't found this yet NAGCA is a good place for Grand info. As far as swaping in the AW4 it should be doable. Might not be the easiest though.

I've been cruising through NAGCA, lurking and looking.

I've lots of bad things about the stock trannies, so I would like the AW-4 in there.

All the donor parts would be coming from my '95 XJ, so I would have all the needed computers and such.

I have a 2003 Grand Cherokee WJ that has been hit on the side if you need any parts it only has 30K miles on it runs perfect...fyi
