i was on I35 (around 2pmon saturday) right where the 130 toll dumps into the interstate (north) and saw a 2 door older xj with about a 4.5" lift going north i thought i saw a :NAXJA: sticker on the back. i was in a zj :eyes: so i would have made a fool of myself to get recognized but i didnt think it would help in the grand. anyways just wanted to see who it was

If it was Blue 2dr probably was mine. That's about the time we got off 130 onto I35. However, wife was driving as I was in front of her towing my 5th wheel RV in my Titan. Sorry if she gaffed you off she HATES driving the Jeep but won't tow the RV :)

ya ok i remember seeing the titan pulling the rv and thinking to myself "you dont see that everyday" nice xj btw

his tranny didn't break did it?

FYI, I've pulled my 27Ft 5th wheel all over the county with the Titan. Added air bags but rest is stock except exhaust and CAI. It's a 4X4 off road with towing package.

Only issue so far 91K miles and replaced rear axle seals that leaked a bit. Regular maintenance and I'll be running it for a lot longer.

Sure I'll buy a 3/4 ton now that it's paid for but will keep it for DD.

Oh and the 5.6L will hang with most other 1/2 tons out there that are not purposely built for speed ;)

I agree on the "something bigger than 1/2 ton" That is why my next truck will be American... always had Fords but looking at all 3/4's right now.

Would love to find "Grocery Getters" F250 used but not really ever used ;)

lol :( buy american when toyo or nissan make some thing more than a half ton i may consider them trucks, and no the old dually toyo's dont count

The titan is American. The titan isnt sold anywhere but america. U cant get one in Japan. Built IN America, by non union Americans for Americans.

Why would you EVER suggest that ANYONE buy a POS American automobile?

(And before you say anything about the XJ, don't forget that it was designed by the French :moon:)

When American auto manufacturers can build ANYTHING other than debts that are equal to the ROW market, then we can talk.
