My girlfriend was driving her XJ today and I guess it just stopped shifting. Everything but reverse was messed up. If the Jeep's turned off, the Jeep is able to shift into gears REALLY easily. The master was just replaced about a month ago, and now Pep Boys says the internal slave is gone. I replaced the entire clutch system over the summer. Pep Boys is asking to replace the slave and tap out a couple of skid plate bolts from the frame for about half the value of the Jeep. We're just looking for a decent mechanic who'd like a side job.
