I have narrowed down my search to the Xj armor and the RE throttle bodies. They both have the same bore size, blade design with low profile set screws. They are both cnc machined out of aluminum. Both come assembled with throttle linkage.

My question is, does anyone have either of these and what are the differences?

XJ armor claims to have special oversized bearings for the mevment of the blade??
Does RE have anything like this?

The price difference is minimal-
XJ armor- $260
RE- $300

Thanks for any info

I wouldn't deal with XJ Armor again if they were the last fabricator on Earth. I ordered some parts from them, was told that they were headed to powder coat and would be shipped in a week. A couple of weeks when by, I was then told they just didn't have time right then and it could "be awhile". I cancelled my order and started the long battle, Nearly two more weeks, of getting them to return my money to my PayPal account. Just my .02.

same here, waited for my Hella lights and the harness for 2 months... after i got everything, the lights were broken(lenses).

For a good throttle body( i have one, and love it, made soooo much difference in torque, and off the line its unbelievable;P!) email [email protected] ... he also puts a different butterfly so on the one side of the plate, there is only screws-flows better than others...highly recommended!

it is bored over with a new plate.
