XJ and ZJ lift part differences???

Hey guys, are the lift parts for the XJ's and ZJ's on the front exactly the same parts or are there differences that could cause issues if used on the wrong vehicle?

Reason I ask is because I have a guy wanting to sell or trade me a 4" lift for a ZJ and he is telling me that all the stuff for the front axles are the same...?????
I have a 98 XJ.
He has the front coils, lower adjustable front control arms, adjustable track bar for the front, and has rear upper and lower control arms and coils and stock rear track bar.

OK, thanks. I ended up pulling complete lift off a 87-89 Jeep Commanchee pickup and now have some questions on it. I am pretty sure its the same as whats used on the XJ's and I got the rear lift leaf springs also, as well as the front coils but it also has some additional parts that bolted into the original frame brackets on the front that lowered the front upper and lower control arms about 3 or 4 inches. They are bolt on parts and I am wondering if they are sort of like a body lift for the front or would they be some type of long arm kit? Its front coils are like orange or red in color. The upper and lower control arms look like the factory arms but I am not sure if they are the stock lengths.
Just wondering how safe these drop blocks are and would they gain me anything to use them on the front?

Pssst: The rear springs will be more than too long... on a ZJ. :D

I think you missed something.:D:D

Sorry if this is confusing. My Jeep is a 98 Cherokee XJ so its got rear leafs.
I got the Rough Country lift off an 89 Commanchee pickup.
So, are the rear leafs on the Commanchee not usable on my 98 XJ???

No,the Comanche springs are about 5" longer than XJ springs(unless you want to build custom front and rear leaf spring mounts).

OK, so what if I swapped the main leaf on my 98 XJ onto the
Commanchee RC lift springs?
Would I still have about the same rear lift by just swapping the main leaf to make the spring pack fit?
