WTT: 2 for 1 np231

I have 2 np231J from 97+ xjs. One is stock and has a bent output shaft. The other has an HD SYE and tera low kit that is not working. Not sure what is wrong with it. Trade these two for 1 good working one from a 97+

Long time no see mike. If I have no takers on the pair then yes I will definitely consider it. I was hoping someone could make 1 nice unit out of both of these. If I had the tools and equipment I would take em apart and swap components.

And I can sell you a 231 with a SYE for a $100... It needs the 32 spline 1310 cv yoke off of the transfer case you have.... If that's what's on it that is

Oops, mines from a 91, but should be a 23 spline and I would assume it will work.

The 91+ is 23 spline. Somewhere around 94-95 the cut on the internal gears changed, but that's internal, and only matters if you're doing swaps of internal parts with teeth.

dumptruck is down in carlsbad and i'm 99% sure he wants to make this happen. he works 12 hour shifts most days at CTM and comes home dead to the world.
