I ordered a cylinder head from Clearwater a week ago. No tracking info ever sent. Call today and oops! they forgot to put it on the board. The fellow I spoke was extremely nice and apologetic. He said I would have the cylinder head in my hands by next Wednesday. Ok.... I can deal with that. No wheeling this weekend either.....

I ordered a steering gear bracket from C-ROK the day before I ordered the cylinder head. No word from them either.... I email them....Nothing yet. I call the number on their website and end up waking some woman up from her morning nap to find out the number posted is a personal residence not affiliated with C-ROK. What's up with that?!?!?

Should I file a dispute via paypal on the C-ROK purchase?
 
You would think they would change the number on their website.:twak: I bet that lady is pissed about getting their phone calls all the time. :flamemad:
 
you should have gone to APM in Forest Park GA for the head..
mine was $265 after taxes.

Funny you say that.. i just got a head and C ROK steering gear bracket at my door yesterday..

Call them and ask them about it.. even tell them the confirmation number on the order. or the amount withdrew from your account.

i will tell you.. when i called APM for my cylinder head .. it sounded wierd when a woman picked up the phone

12 days and nothing from C-ROK. Filed dispute with paypal. Screw C-ROK. Will unofficially be referred to as C-RAK. Ordered the part from JCR.... Now, let's see if JCR's service is better..... My first purchase from them(albeit a small one). Here goes nothing....
 
Got an email from C-ROK about 15 minutes ago. Told them to cancel the order and refund the money. Hopefully that won't take quite as long as it did for them to contact me.......
 
i hate that... customer service HAS to be #1.. if you can provide me my order.. dont waste my time

Well, I have to eat some crow here. Greg @ C-ROK made an unexpected move. Due to the lack of communication on their end, he sent me the product I ordered AND refunded my money.

Yes, it was frustrating. BUT, you have to give a company props that is willing to admit a mistake and stand behind it with a move like that.

That's pretty cool...
But now you'll have to cancel your order with JCR, lol
 
Just checked APM's website..... the cylinder heads are now $360 a piece
