WTB Welder

Still new to the Denver area and I'm looking for recomendations for a local shop that sells welders and welding supplies. Not set on a brand, other than I want a real welder, and not a toy from Harbor Freight. Leaning towards one of the largest of the 120V models, both for ease of use (living in a rental house) and cost.

Tell me where to spend my money!

If you know what you are looking for, craigslist has a gem every now and then.

Stang5lgt picked up a nice reconditioned Hobart from tool king.

Most of the consumables I use at home are available at my local hardware store, but I don't own a wire feed. When I lived in Aurora I would visit Linweld often, but that has been a few years.

Hope this gets the ball rolling.

I have a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for, but don't really have time to wait on one to show up on CL. I have some body and exhaust work that needs to be done with in a week or so.

Down the line I'm wanting to do one of the Iron Scorpion kits, and really don't see myself doing thicker that 1/4 anytime in the forseable future.

Sweet, now that is what I needed to know. Going to give them a call tomorrow and get by there this week to see what they've got in stock.

Then I'll just need to rent a tank some place and get some scrap to practice on and I'll be good to go.

Thanks much.
