WTB: Tow bar mounts

My pops is looking for the frame mounts that he can hook to a tow bar and tow his XJ behind his motor home.

I dont really know what they are called.

They can be made a whole lot cheaper than bought. He needs a heavy duty bumper that has extra bolts holding it on...winch bumper. Then he can make the mounts to bolt to it. This is what I did on mine. The orange brackets are for the tow bar.

There is this place in Anahiem called RV toy outlet. They have inexpensive tow bars with mounts. I don't know if they sell separates.

Another thought is to use a front mounted receiver hitch and then drill and mount to that. I did that and it works great.

Look at this old picture to see what I am talking about. The front hitch hides up there nice with a stock bumper.

There is a bolt on tow bar mount on an XJ in the Ontario Pick n Pull if you feel like doing a little work.
