WTB Shift kit AW4

I'm rebuilding an Aw4 and was thinking about putting a shift kit in. Anyone knoww of one?

There is no shift kit for the aw4, someone makes a "shift improver valve" that is supposed to make it shift harder but that's about it.

Do you have any recomendations for a trans that I could swap in the XJ that is compatible with a shift kit?

even a trans with a shift kit you will only see a benefit on the street when putting your foot down and trying to race someone. If you want a shift kit build a hotrod

Not a kit, but the whole VB... A340E is an AW4 just with different gear ratio's.

Try this link here... I had one in my racer until I blew 2nd gear on my AW4. Went a different route on the tranny.. Just sold mine and worked great. Had the TC lock up capability and could switch into shifter mode or standard (computer controlled) mode..

Also, there a simple ways that you can bump up your line pressure as well if you are looking for a firmer shift.
