yea that wont work, as it is im probably going to have modify the tray so that the cap stops hitting the hood, I know I could get the volvo cap, and I may in the future but I haven't had good luck finding any

i bought one from checker about 2007 or so, ended up re-plumbing with a new radiator for a '96 model. Heater and a few other things got taken out of the loop in my haste but it hasn't over heated in a LONG time.

A-zone, AA, and O'reily stock the green volvo cap, it is about $7, and it is well worth the price. It solves the hood clearance issue and it seals for years.

The stock caps that come with the bottles are crap now even if you lower the bottle, they are too week on the side wall and they will not stay sealed unless you put a worm gear clamp around the cap.

Just look up a volvo vehicle, they all use the same cap. It also in many posts here, just search the old posts
