WTB: power steering gearbox

I need a working power steering gearbox. My started leaking the fluid instantly after the accident, so I dont know if it is just a seal or if it is more than that. I have no experience with gearboxes, so if someone has a working gearbox that will work on a 98 I'll be more than happy to take it. :helpme:

Anyone have any suggestions for upgrades maybe?

87ish J20, or 99 Durango. Durango has variable ratio while the J20 is something like 18:1. Either is an easy swap.

i just finished rebuilding my box after it started leaking, alot of people will discourage you from doing this, but it isnt that bad. my guess is that in your accident the box tweaked to one side a little and caused the "imput shaft" seal to leak because the shaft is pulling to one side. if you dont wrench, you can send the box to westtexasoffroad.com. they know their stuff and are reasonably priced. they can do anything from stock rebuild to port/ tap for hydraulic assist. good luck.
