Looking for a mountain bike, front suspension is a must, rear suspension even better. Anyone here have one collecting dust?

As a matter of fact I do...I have a Gary Fisher Marlin Disc that I bought brand new in the spring of 2008 from Owen Cyclery. I barely road it...tore up my knee pretty bad shortly after I bought it and never really got back into it. I'm confident that it has less than 100 miles on it. What's your price range???

What kinda of riding are you planning on? Depending on what your goals are, buying a bike can be almost as complicated as buying a vehicle. Right off the bat though, I would suggest that you don't need a full suspension ride. Let me know if you want advice. Not to be egotistical, but I know a thing or two about em.

Made the mistake of going in to East Ridge Bicycles last night. Not really a mistake I guess, but ended up buying a bike. I had decided just to wait, and I had to go to class as well, then drove to school 20 minutes away and found out class was canceled when I got there so I took it as a sign?

The guys there were always cool when I used to ride all the time years ago, and they still are cool.

I had told myself I wasn't going in to a bike shop until the weekend, I really wanted to buy used, but at the same time I've been watching craigslist list for weeks and emailed/called on several with no return contact. Guess they didn't want to sell anything that bad.

Picked up a Giant Revel 0. Feels pretty good. Never had a front suspension bike before, that will take some getting used to. Mountain bikes are a lot lighter now too.

This is another reason I should have waited! I just looked that bike up and it's very similar to what I got, and the price range probably would have been right too.
I mentioned to one of my buddies I used to ride with back in the day I was getting another and he said he had been looking too. I'll mention your bike to him.

PLease do! I need to get rid of it...

How much are you thinking for that bike? Mine got stolen from out in front of my dorm last fall. I have been missing riding and now its getting warm. Gotta get back out there

I was thinking around $350...that's after I give it a decent tune-up though. It's basically been sitting the last 2 years. Everything is stock except for the seat.
