Hey fellas I am looking for a depenable street bike for a commuter. Doesnt have to be pretty only dependable. Able to travel around 400 miles a week. Please let me know what you have or know of. I will have a budget of a little more than 1k.
 
I have a 1989 honda 250, I have had no problems runs strong, no mechanical issues. also looks nice. give me a call so you can take a look. I'm asking $1000, I dont think you'll be dissappointed. cell 509-499-7356

600cc and reliable for $1k?

Come back to reality and buy that 250, the mileage will be higher anyway if you're commutting with it. Plus insurance is calculated based on cc's, so the lower the better for rates.
 
Nevermind about buying THAT 250. Shipping from Wash hardly seems worth it?
 
Get a cheapo plane ticket and ride it back to Cali....you will have an adventure suitable to tell your grand kids.:peace: and those little 250's get about 70-75 mpg.
 
wify is giving me 1300. I have a lot of hills to transverse that is why I am looking for a bigger bike. I know for 1300 I cant expect alot, just hoping for a good deal.
