Yeah, I know there's no such thing as a good D35, hence the quotes, but this is for the wife's DD, need to keep the ABS.

Don't ask me why she was driving a 242, limited slip equipped jeep in 2wd on a day just warm enough to rain, but she managed to spin out into and on top of a 10" high median, destroying a rim and bending an axle shaft, also causing the tone ring to hit the sensor and start the shaft seal leaking. Didn't do the brake shoes much good either. Just real glad there was no traffic

So, anyone local got one in decent shape? I do have a spare shaft, but by the time I do seals and other misc parts and labor, would be easier to just swap the axle.

Looks like the brake backing plate is bent as well...

John I think we have one laying around the shop I will look Thursday night for you.

Ram" Good d-35 ...lol"Rod

That would be great, let me know.

Wish I hadn't pitched the couple I had. I only saved those shafts from my 94 because they had brand new studs.

John, I have one out of the 98 Limited I just parted. It is good as far as I know bc the guy was driving it daily until he overheated it.

Now if we can figure out the transportation part, we can have you a hella good deal :D

Just find an MJ for Mac :D

Got Cindy driving my 96 with the winter tires on it, I'm driving the 99, so the sooner I can get the 98 repaired, the better.

Still looking for a good one. Sad to say, I put new bearings and seals, brake parts, and a lubelocker gasket on this turdy-5, beat the crap out of the backing plate with a sledgehammer, seems to be working good, but I'm no axle expert, didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so I don't have much faith in the future longevity of this axle...
