WTB Front Drive Shaft for SYE project

Need a front drive shaft from an auto 4.0 xj. I want to get that PORC HD SYE. Looking to spend around 50 for a shaft in good condition.
Im in Huntington Beach.

What u-joints do i need for it? I'v never done any drive shaft stuff before so i have no idea. Also how much do they run for some good ones?

I'm not sure about the part numbers but I would guess they are about $10-15 apiece. You will need 3 of them.

yes. well, they are prescision numbers but napa only carries prescision ujoints now.

I go out that way a couple times a year. Maybe someone from that area will be coming out this way to wheel soon. I go to San Diego a couple times a month so if you know someone who will be down that way......

I might just drive down there with the GF, she has a newer beetle that gets ok mpg. Il just say "Havent you ever driven to Temecula, Sooo romantic . I would like to go out there in the Jeep to wheel but need to do the SYE first haha. I dropped the tc for now but dont feel comfortable doin anything other than reg driving with it.

Yes indeed. It is in my garage now . Waiting for new u-joints. I got my SYE a couple days ago too. Im a little confused about the box because i ordered it from PORC but i got an Advanced Adapters box with AA instructions too. So maybe i got an AA one cheap or PORC likes to use AA's boxes and instructions, im not sure haha.
