Hi all, new to forum, and just trying something different. I have been checking craigslist daily, and have yet to find the XJ I want to spend my hard earned dollars on. I am located in Hesperia, but will travel for the right deal.
What I am looking for is a clean and dependable rig, that I will also use as a dd. I currently am not planning on running it in koh, or anything that extreme. What I am planning on using it for is a daily driver for my 6 mile daily commute, and a weekend toy to take the family out to some of the local truck trails, and exploring. Not looking for anything hammered. Some character is ok.
I have found a couple rigs on craigslist that have sparked my interest, but just not the one lol. I prefer an auto, but am open. I am currently looking at an 89 with 3 inch lift, d44 rear, and regeared, but it's a manual.
I do have a realistic idea what these are worth, and my budget is right in that range. Cash in hand, no monkey business. Shoot me a pm with what you have, and we can go from there.
I just need to find something before the wife comes to her senses :rof: hopefully we can find a lonely XJ a new home.
