WTB: Drivers side seat belt latch

Needed: one drivers side seatbelt latch for my 87. Need the kind with the AMC logo on the release button. Tan would be best, but let me know what you've got.

I have one in a spare comanche, 88 model year....but appears to be the GM style, no AMC logo. Let me know if you want to try it anyway, not sure how different they are??

Ill give it a shot. I tried one out of an S10, thinking it would be close, but if there is any side load on the buckle it would pop loose. Bring it to SCF, ill either buy it from ya, or give it back depending on if it works.

i have an 87 with tan interior in my yard. (parts jeep). i will check to see if it says AMC in just a little while. you are talking about the clip next to the center console yes?

Yes, the female part the seat belt goes into

i took a quick peek and someone has removed the covers to both the drivers and pass side. so i have no idea if they were the AMC ones. if i find the covers i will let you know. will the covers from the rear seat belts work on these? it may still have those, i didnt check since the seat was folded down.

By covers do you mean the plastic/vinyl piece that covers the metal straps running down to the mount? If so, I can re use my old one. I mainly just need the buckle with the mount and button still attached

no sorry, i meant the latch cover and button. i will search the jeep for them and check the rears to see if they match.
