WTB: Dana 300 transfer case

I see these pop up on pirate. Some guys even sell the whole unit, 231 included.

I plan on running this type of doubler set up. Seems like the way to go on the cheap.

I have also been researching the 4 to 1, but it seems most guys that write anything about them complain about them breaking or popping out of gear.

depends on what 4:1 and what shifter you have. the tera 4:1 is known to break, the rubicon one is not.

popping out is a matter of poorly adjusted stock shifter.

seems like Cal is correct, i've seen one or two dead terralow kits, but the rubi 241'a seem to be pretty decent.

Going to the Novak cable shifter can remove a lot of the jumping out of gear issue as well. I have one on my 231, and really like it. I had the original linkage pop out of gear a couple of times, and the T-Case is nearly new. It had to do with torquing and the twist between the drivetrain and body.

Since the cable shifter has been in, I've no popping out of gear issue whatsoever. Novak can also make a customer length cable, so adding a Klune to a 231 or 241 wouldn't be a problem for shifting the original T-Case.
