Anyone got some stuff laying around they could get ride of? Looking online stuff is expensive for single pieces and even more so when you buy a "kit" I don't plan to use that much stuff..
So anyone got any stones, bits, mandrel shanks either 4" or 6". Cartridge rolls ect. The little flap wheels or cross buffs? Let me know fellas.

Thanks John, picked up a 249 piece kit for 19 bucks and a 80 piece kit for 11 bucks. the later also included a rotary grinder, so now I can run past 10 o'clock..using my die grinder on air sucks cause the damn compressor is sooo loud. All that for around 30 bucks is AWSOME! online or eBay they want about 50 cents per piece. 39 bucks for 78 different roughness & size paper rolls and 2 mandrels..way to much for what you get.

Just remember you always get what you've paid for, so don't be surprised if those don't last long.

Ya true, paper rolls & stones should be the same right. I won't use here carbide bits as 2 of the wobble considerably and I've not even used em..won't risk them on my head, just stones and paper rolls.

Whats the worst that can happen spinning small stone bits at high rpm's? Oh wait....

A good trick is to wire up a electrical dimmer switch on your workbench with a separate outlet plug. That way you could change your RPM speed by simply turning the knob.

Yes.
Makita is cheap and works well.
Unless you do a lot of porting air will work just fine.

Check Roark Supply.

They are a sponsor and local in Orange County.

Got what I needed:) finally. I'm gonna talk to Russ of which style carbide to buy. Either a flame, tree or egg shape..can't remember what he said.

A Olive shape is all you really need for what your doing.

Olive, there we go.

I want to thank you Russ for everything. Your so helpful as far as questions & working with me on EVERYTHING! Very happy I ended up coming to. You vs a local machine shop.
