I'm looking for an air compressor with an attached tank. 110v. Needs to be able to power a impact gun. I'm hoping to spend $100 max.

Also looking for:
- a quality 1/2" impact gun. Snap on, Mac tools, Ingersoll-rand, etc.

- cordless impact driver (1/4" female style 18v or 20v). Preferably ridgid, dewalt or Milwaukee.

- in/lb torque wrench. Dial indicator or bar style.

- ratcheting wrenches (metric)

- cheap garage lighting

I'm located in Sacramento but occasionally make my way over to Pleasanton.

I recommend the Ingersol 231H guns. You can find more powerful but not more reliable. I've seen *lots* of 231 series guns with more than 25 years of professional use on them.

HF has a coupon for 18$ for a set of ratcheting wrenches. Metric or standard. They are HF so they arent ideal, but I use them in my trail tool box.

HF usually has deals/coupons on their compressors.
I have the Matco version of the IR 2135ti. Either one recommended. Sears/OSH for this probably. Go when there is a sale.
Gearwrench is usually the least expensive, quality ratchet wrench.
You can pick up a cheap tq wrench and lighting at HF as well.

If you get your gearwrenches from ace, they will warranty them.
Gearwrench didnt used to warranty their stuff, not sure if they do now or not

Great information guys. Thanks!

Im trying to skip the cheap tools and just fork out the cash for a quality product the first time around. I know it will keep me happier in the long run.

My coworker uses a Ingersoll-Rand 2135TiMAX on the daily and I have fallen in love with that thing. So I've been scrounging ebay and craigslist trying to find a good used deal. Even if its not as reliable as the smaller guns, I don't mind rebuilding it when needed.

Ill have to check out those gearwrench ratcheting wrenches. I know they make a quality tool. Does ACE offer a lifetime warranty on those guys?

Rockslut. Expect a call/text in the near future regarding your air compressor.

^ Thanks, Ill have to pick a set up!

Also in need of a floor jack.
