Wrenching Time!!!!

so do you need me to bring any of this or not?
anything to weld up on the front end before installation?

if you have compressed air & a 3 prong 220v 30 amp outlet then i can bring my plasma cutter & remove the LCA brackets fast.
i can bring air chisels & air hammers as well.
also can bring angle grinder etc.
need mini skids on the housing? i can fab them & weld them too.
let me know what you need, i have a pretty fair assortment of tools & equipment & other than my work i do not have a social life at all . :wow:

I would LOVE it if you brought this stuff but unfortunately I don't have 220 :-(

The only thing in the front that could use a weld is the Heavy Duty Track Bar Brace. The frame stiffeners will be installed another day.

Thanks for the offer!!!!!

i'll probably show up friday after work to lend a hand.

This week has flown by - I haven't gotten anything done - LOL Glad I have so much help this weekend :kissyou:

Preperation:
1. Dis Assemble, clean and Re-assemble Y-Link Johnny Joints. I have the tool.
2. Remove and inspect Rear Axel Shafts
3. Clean Rotors (rusty from sitting around)
4. Assemble JKS Disconnects

Suspension Install:
1. Install Rear Leafs and Axel
2. Cut off LCA Brackets
3. Install Belly Skid which includes drilling about 4 monster holes
4. Install HD Track Bar Brace
5. Install Steering Box Brace
6. Install front Axel and so on

Extra:
1. Swap T-Case
2. Run OX Cable

If we have time and the hands:
1. Install ARB Wiring Harness & Air Hose
2. Trim Fenders
3. Install Rock Rails
4. Install Rear Bumper - this will require cutting and folding qtr panels. Anyone have a rivet gun?
5. Front Bumper isn't painted yet :-)

It will be great to see everyone and I am apologizing now if I get a little bossy - LOL Any vegatarians coming over? I am going to make Burgers and Hot Links. I will also have cold water, soda and beer.

Thanks Again....

I'll be there on Sat. and if there are too many hands, maybe I could get some assist in trimming my fenders. I have already removed my flares.

See ya Sat around 10:00am

i'll bring:
pop rivet gun & rivets,
7/16" & 13/16" drill bits & big drill gun,
L&R tin snips (for trimming fenders),
angle grinder with cut off wheels & grinding discs,
various other implements of destruction...

do you have an air compressor?
i can bring an air hammer & fold over the front inner wheelwell seam very nicely with it.
if not, we can do that at my shop when you get it running.

I might be able to borrow one. Are you coming by on Fri or Sat? If we don't get one I will definitely come by. I want the fenders to look as clean as possible :-)

Thanks again!!!!!!

Hey fellas - Lookin forward to seeing ya'all tonight.

I should be home around 6. If you get there before me my sis will be home so feel free to hang out. I'm hoping to cut the wrenching time to around 9:30. Don't want to be up too late and have to work all day Saturday - LOL

I'll order some Pizza tonight and have some Beer too. Tomorrow I'll grill up some burgers & dogs.

6:00 start? i don't want to twiddle my thumbs for 2 hours after work so

let me know if you think of any other special tools i should bring.

Yeah sorry about that. I can't get out of here until 5:00, it's our quarter end and I need to make some sales.

I am thinking about 9 tomorrow. I don't want to start making a bunch of noise too early :-)

Josh and I should be able to punch out the rear and start getting the front dis-assembled tonight.
