Speaking of Red...

I was looking around for custom cut floormats for the Neon (I don't do universal mats anymore) and there's some fool on eBay selling custom cut DIAMOND PLATE floor mats. Christ that's dumb!

Thanks for the laugh.

Should've read more like "Speaking of, Red" Probably should've quoted your use of aluminium as well for some context.

Anyone tried wrapping their cherokee? I've seen it in some import magazines, and in Truckin'. Basically they wrap the entire vehicle with a huge vinyl decal. I'm thinking it might be a good way to cover up some awesome "I used to have bushwackers" holes. Plus, it seems like it would hold up to scrapes and scratches from branches better.
It's way too cost prohibitive. You could have a body & paint shop do a high quality paint job for less.

i think if you can ryme you can wrap about anything you want:exclamati :exclamati :exclamati :laugh3: :laugh3:

so i say wrap that cherokee:exclamati :exclamati :exclamati

Not to distrub all the fun here... But has anybody here clear wrapped cars? I'm thinking that wouldn't be half bad for the Mini if it's as clear as they say.

Couple rolls of this and a buddy's car...wrapped in every direction we could, including the underside. Made him late for work the next morning but hey, it was his birthday!

Now for the guys we DIDN'T like, we found that the occasional egg or dog turd placed between the layers made cleanup interesting for the enemy.

I've finally figured out how to make my first million!

I'm going to find a way to manufacture rhino/hercu-liner in an adhesive or magnetic backed sheet topped with light-up neon filled bubble-wrap!

I'll market in "Real-Glo Real-Tree," and "Bling-Glo!"

I own a large sign shop and we wrap vehicles all day. In fact my 97 XJ is going to be next and the design we have put together will be pretty sweet. The good thing with wraps is that you pay less or about the same as a paint job but if for some reason you get a big scrape, etc. You don't have to repaint it, just put in a patch panel. With the wraps you can take them off if you don't like them or keep them on forever, can't do that with paint. Plus if you use a heavy duty laminate on top of the vinyl, you don't get scratches and what not as you do with paint.

Just my 2 cents

Chris
