Wounded Warrior Build The Raptured Duck buggy

look my opinion on this build is it's amatuer hour and I would be embarassed to put such a proud name as the Wounded Warrior project on this, especially when everyone is telling you you're doing it wrong... every. step. of. the. way. I'm not a vet but I can easily understand where both RedHeep and shelbyluvv are coming from.

there are a few in here just talking shit and poking you with a stick but the majority of the posts are trying to help, worded harshly or not. the intentions of the people posting here are to keep you guys from hurting someone or to help steer you in the right direction with this build and keep you from embarassing yourself when both axles grenade the first time you take it out.

The shit talking needs to stop, the op would be more likely to listen if some of you weren't such assholes about it.

i think this build is awesome and serves good purpose. even if something does break half the fun is builing it. everyone involved will get a chance to learn

spoken like someone who has never broken on the trail.

Yes sorry, been busy- we got seats mounted, fuel cell in, radiator mounted and all the wiring done.

I just read this thread and every single one of my concerns have already been asked and seemed to be ignored. Full tube buggy for wounded vets? how is one who is wounded, amputee gonna get in and out, how about in a roll over situation, tires too big for axles, suspension geometry etc...

You not taking advice from anyone on here will be your biggest mistake. Hope it doesnt hurt you or someone else down the road.

Did this happen?

It's a T- Handle steering wheel, throttle and brake that will be moveable to either side, it will also have a pivot point for one hand use in the event it needs to be controlled one handed. Kinda hard to explain, once we get it mounted ill shoot a short video to explain its operation.

just a quick safety question, is that the coolant return line going right through the foot well? to me that is a serious burn potential, more so if you have a warrior that has loss of feeling in their leg.

Yeah cause posting something with 18,000 people is on the DL...

School dropped it, said it was to unsafe even with remote kill switch. So get your facts straight, I have remained in good spirits over the project but it is what it is. No money was ever Donated, we used our own funds out of OUR pockets, as well as paying cost for they hydro steer, which we informed the 2 people that did donate parts, what was going on. They did not want the parts back. But hey you really don't care much about that. Y'all have been on a witch hunt since we started. So it's up for sale, to recoupe the money my wife and I have spent for nothing. So thanks for being so generous woth knowledge and helping NAXJA members. Have a good one-

We got word the boys at west Texas Offroad are donating us a hydro steer kit and box for our front!

Well if you want to be credible, it really helps to keep your lies... I mean facts straight. Also why did you take the AD down once I called you out?

It is very disappointing to see this concept die this way. I think it would be much easier and cheaper to simply get a bunch of the guys (and gals) together and have one or two seats in each vehicle open for our wounded warriors and take them on an adventure they won't soon forget. We could do a great deal of good this way for no more money than a typical wheeling trip and it would give us the chance to show our appreciation for the sacrifices our servicemembers make when they sign on the dotted line. Who is with me on this?

His eas under the cutting scores page shows indef.....prob already pending legal. We could get him to WW....on the brig trash team
