Worthy 4x4 related causes

I'm gathering info here......I'd like to compile a list of worthy 4x4 related causes that are here in the MWC. This is just for future reference. Nothing in the works at this point, just collecting ideas. It should not be a private business (such as the Badlands), or another club. It needs to be an organization that fights against land closures and/or supports ethical wheeling. Orginazations such as WOHVA and Redbird SRA are great examples of places that we would support.

You already have WOHVA. They have partnered with the Mole Lake Indians, Jeep Jamboree, and are active in WI Off-Roading concerns. This year, WOHVA was instumental in getting a 4WD orientated person appointed to the State Trail Council, the first ever representative of our recreation on that Council.

I see that Wisconsin 4-Wheel Drive Association is getting back on their feet a bit, and have partnered with WOHVA.

MN4WDA (Minn 4-Wheel Drive Association) is a good organization, and they volunteer each year to put on events at the Trollhaugen Ski area near Dresser, WI through another organization Memorial4X4.org. I am not sure exactly how active they are in relation to Minn's 2 State run Off-Road parks, but they probably have put their oar in a time or two.
