Workshop day at Stumps. February 9th.

Well my junk died in an intersection, battery is shot so I probably won't be making it.

Well... How'd it go? Would have loved to attend but I was about 48 hours away & couldn't make it.

It went well, had about 8-10 folks or so throughout the day. Got a fair amount of work done, and everything went well.

I installed my SYE first thing that morning, then Michael (Mbarker9) came over and got his SYE installed and finished around noon. Josh (revmaynard) came over with his girlfriend and his XJ, and brought a coworker who had a LJ. We put an extended steel braided brake line on the rear of his XJ, and pressed in a couple new U-joints for his front and rear driveshafts. His co-worker buddy Ryan removed a Rugged Ridge winch, and installed a new WARN 9.5XP out in the driveway/street. Then, I pulled my DD back into the shop and installed a new Magnaflow muffler, and a Lockrite locker in the font axle. Overall, a nice productive day. Drank a few beers, and ate some Hotdogs that Josh bought and grilled out for us. Perfect weather, and a 14 hour day of working on Jeeps. Doesnt get much better in my opinion!

Sell it. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. It's an 8500lb with about 3 pulls on it. Synthetic with hawse fairlead and all the mounting hardware/parts needed.

The Magnaflow sounds good. Just slightly rumblier (my word...) than stock. Nothing obnoxious at all. Quieter than my Flowmaster 50 series. Im perfectly happy with it for my DD! It has been ceramic coated to help reduce heat (or something like that...), I got it from a buddy of mine who had it on his TJ.

Drives great! Gotta get my shaft back in the front, but no more vibes from the rear. Thanks for the plug, no rush getting it here.

I want to give a shout out to Stump for letting us use his place. He as also a very good teacher. The SYE install went well.....


Except I still have vibrations. I am going to go pull an axle out of a ford tomorrow and have the DS rebuilt for a third time next week. Trying to eliminate all possibilities. And an axle with a locker and 4.10 gears will be a nice boast in the mean time.
