new alternator is installed, bought new bearings and pressed the old ones out, the new races are sitting in the freezer till tomorrow so they'll go in easier. Hopefully they'll fix the noises and it's not something else.

Freezer eh. Thats a neat trick I never thought to do before.

My neighbor suggested it, I couldn't get the race to seat properly at room temperature.

I freeze all my metal parts before I install them. Works very well with ball joints and axle seals also.

They are off exit 32 off 65 south. Which way will you be Coming? I can try and find a meeting point.

Turn Right drive about 4 miles.
